This is a phenomenal option for a visit to Blacksburg. The unit is well appointed, modern, and very clean. Todd and Radka are very responsive, and proactive with great instructions. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect home base for a college student who is in the process of moving between dorm and apartment. Very easy to find and clear instructions. I had a slight issue with the key code to begin with but the host was extremely helpful and I figured out how to use the lock. Very clean not too much noise and the view was really nice after a long day of classes.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting our son’s at VT, this was our 2nd time staying here. Great location and place is comfortable and easy to get to.

We loved our stay at Ruth’s place! We had everything we needed for our stay to visit our Hokie. Ruth includes so many special touches to make her guests feel at home. She is very friendly and accommodating. The views are lovely and location is perfect for visiting VT. We come to town at least twice a year, and we hope to book Ruth’s place again. We have stayed in several Airbnb locations in Blacksburg, and this one is by far our favorite.

My husband and I truly love this place. It was our birthday weekend and we wanted to just unwind and do absolutely nothing and relax…this place allowed us to do just that. Hubby fell in love with the hot tub because he said it really helped him relax and was essentially therapeutic. The place had any and everything needed from flashlights for safety to mosquito spray for bugs! For me it was the access to the washer and dryer in the cabin b/c we don’t have them in our tiny apartment. That was such a treat! We would love to come back to this place more regularly because we’re not too far from the location and hopefully we’ll be able to. I hope we were great guests as well… we were mindful of all the expectations that were expected of us as well! Thank you so much for allowing us to share your home! GREAT HOSTS!!

We only stopped in for about 8 hours as a place to stay the night during our road trip, but it was a beautiful woodsy location and a very clean cute place inside!

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

Another great stay at John & Sharon's place. Such a lovely setting. We fish and they had added a fish cleaning station at dock which was very nice. Very responsive to guest needs. The dock is wonderful and a gentle slope down from house so not a lot of stairs down to lake like in other houses. Driveway turn around for a boat on trailer is very tight so we launched our boat first at the Hales Ford Launch and just brought the trailer down the drive. Worked well. Would recommend this for a relaxing vacation. Rea

Always enjoy staying at Stephen’s place. Private & peaceful and accommodations are very comfortable. Comfortable bed and cozy living area. Linens and towels are nice quality. Will be back!!

I stayed at Kent’s place for the three-day hiking trip. His is superlative! A huge kitchen with Bosch Thermador cooktop, free breakfast items, plush bath towels, very quiet and beautiful surroundings, etc. So far, this is my best Airbnb stay in the U.S. Thank you very much.

We had a great stay here! This accommodation had all we needed and anticipated our wants as well. Cyndy was very gracious and responsive. There were snacks and drinks provided which was a welcome surprise. Worth a visit!

The rental was clean and cozy. Having some different spices and coffee available was a nice plus. The access to the lake was A1. Being able to access the lake with a kayak was a new and rewarding experience for me. Lynne was easy to reach thru the app but allowed my wife and I our space during our time there. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Great spot for a couple coming in for a game and to spend time with our kid at Virginia Tech. The host was very nice and accommodating. Will be our first choice when coming back to the area. Thanks again!

This place was perfect for a one night stay. It was exactly as advertised and Marilyn was prompt with her communication even when we arrived close to 10:00 pm. Oatmeal was provided (which is like, all I eat for breakfast) and both my girlfriend and I noted the cleanliness. It was simple and convenient to check in and out and the mountain view was great for an early morning meditation before departing. Definitely would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

We had a great stay! Very clean and convenient. The host was great at communicating, but we really didn’t need anything during our stay because she told us everything up front. The fridge and kitchenette were also fully stocked, which was thoughtful and definitely came in handy! The donuts were an especially kind and welcoming touch. Would absolutely stay here again! Very easy and stress-free process all around.

My fiancé and I stayed at Jennifer’s home while visiting my brother who attends Virginia Tech. The most peaceful stay! We felt right at home, with cozy amenities and lovely decor that added a personal touch. The tranquility of the farm, combined with beautiful views and the sounds of nature in the morning, created a serene atmosphere. Super easy check-in and it had absolutely everything we needed! I had a quick question when we checked in and Jennifer responded immediately. Highly recommend! Thank you!
