This area offers skiing,flyfishing, rafting, hiking, biking, horse riding and many other activities.

We are in the center of Colorado's mountain biking community with a 100 miles of single track. Also just down the interstate from Vail and Beaver Creek resorts. The views alone are worth the visit! Basalt's central location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended to get around the valley. We welcome pets and their responsible humans, either one large or two small/med. Let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that they be kenneled/pen/crate if left behind while you go out.
