Guests can initially access the property via an on-site caretaker during office hours. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals to have access at other times, but an additional fee may be charged.
During your stay you will have 24-hour access via gate remote controls and a complete set of keys for gates, pool and games room.

There is an on-site caretaker. The housekeeping service is located in the village centre. The owner is available telephonically for additional information. The flat is cleaned weekly but additional laundry and housekeeping services can be readily arranged for a moderate fee.
House Rules are posted in the kitchen. Please abide by them diligently, in consideration of other residents and guests

The delightful village centre has a grocery store, a cash point, an off-licence bottle store, pizzeria, filling station, library, police station, beauty parlour with masseuse, physiotherapist, gym, dentist and doctor.
DSTV is connected on Easyview but a surcharge is normally applicable for Extra or Premium (R459 and R759 respectively for 2016/7)

Milkwood is a beautiful development and in order to assist the community to live in harmony, a set of house rules has been drawn up by the Body Corporate. Those that may apply to you during your stay are listed below. We wish you an enjoyable stay.
•PETS sorry not peritted.
•REFUSE must be put in strong plastic bags and placed in the bins container in the refuse area (at the side of the drying yard).
•VEHICLES Cars and trailers are to be parked in designated areas only. i.e. carports, visitor parking or trailer storage areas. Flat 5 has ONE covered parking space immediately at the door. Second vehicles or trailers must be parked in the visitors' parking near the entrance gate. Please do NOT park in the spaces allocated to the other flats.
•APPEARANCE Nothing should be placed on the patios, stoeps and gardens) which is aesthetically displeasing or undesirable when viewed from the outside.
•LAUNDRY No washing or laundry may be hung on any part of the building or on common property so as to be visible from the outside of the building. Wash lines are provided in designated drying areas.
•NOISE NUISANCE Please keep noise around the flats to a minimum.
•DOMESTICS Unauthorized persons are not to be given remote or other controls for entrance to the common property.
•SWIMMING POOLS/GAMES ROOM AND PLAYING AREAS The Body Corporate absolves itself from any responsibility concerning the use of the recreational areas and requires adult supervision of children under the age of 12. The games room/library is to be used by people over the age of 16 only, unless supervised by an adult. No surfboards or the like are permitted in the pool areas. Whilst children are encouraged to enjoy full use of the recreational areas, they are not allowed to play on driveways, in front of carports or in corridors. No hard ball games, skateboards or rollerblades are allowed.
• LAWNED AREAS Other than designated playing areas, lawned areas are ‘limited use’ areas. No running, shouting, bycicles or ball games near the flats. The privacy of the owners of ground floor units must be respected at all times. The lawned area in front of the block should not be used for gaining access to the beach. Please do not walk in front of the other flats
•BRAAI AREAS Braai’s are permitted in designated areas i.e. under flues provided or in the community braai areas.
•SEPTIC TANK SEWAGE WATER SYSTEM No disinfectants or foreign objects should be allowed to efflux via toilets, baths or basins. Please use only eco-friendly and thus bio-degradable products. These are available at most supermarkets.
Respect for the peaceful nature of the complex requested as it is a permanent home to several of our more mature neighbours. Children are welcome, but noise is not.
The flat is a non-smoking area, but smoking is permitted outside.
Sorry - not pets as they are not allowed by the Body Corporate.
The complex is quiet and well kept. Hence guests are expected to behave accordingly. The House Rules are posted in the flat and are available in advance from the owner on confirmation of booking.
No ball games on the lawn immediately in front of the apartment.
No skateboards, roller skates, etc., near the apartments
