I am sorry that I had to cancel your reservation, but this was done within a few hours of your booking thus minimizing your inconvenience and also ensuring you a full refund.
Moreover, as I explained in a response email back to you, this was a one-time incident. I had accidentally turned on Airbnb's "Instant Booking" feature which allowed guests, such as yourself, to book for as few nights as possible for my listing.
Unfortunately, per my Villa description, we have a 4 night minimum and your reservation was only for 3 nights. Once I caught this error (which was a mistake due to my unfamiliarity with the Instant Booking process), I quickly removed the "Instant Booking" feature so I would have control over what reservations I confirm and, as such, this problem will no longer occur going forward.
While I can appreciate your frustration, it was an honest mistake, and I did still offer you the option to re-book for 4 nights.
