The first time I came to the one stop light in Floyd, over forty years ago, I knew I was "home". I have never moved away. Our three children were born and raised here. They have long since relocated, but my grandchildren love coming to visit, for the same reasons I settled here. Floyd is a unique place, full of beauty, space, wildlife, quiet, community, music, art, homesteads, and so many, many other things. I have created the loft space so that visitors have a very nice place from which to enjoy and explore Floyd. You are less than fifteen minutes from town, with 221 N, a main highway, being most of the distance. The gravel state road into the loft space is two miles long and follows the Little River most of the way, for great walking/running, wading, etc. My house is one of a cluster of nearby houses, all owned by dear friends. We have large gardens in various places, the biggest being in my front yard. Feel free to ask for a "tour", we enjoy sharing.
