This large, bright, cozy, well equipped, and air conditioned room, with private entrance and balcony, offers stunning views of the San Juan Islands and an active boatyard from your own balcony. A lovely retreat from the hustle & bustle. It is in the home of a noted glass artist, so is well furnished and includes examples of both glass and other art.
(Adjoining private room available for larger parties)
The room is configured for sleeping only two adults, having one king-sized bed. However we welcome small children who are comfortable sleeping with their parents.
Arrivals after 9:00 pm by arrangement.
For larger families or couples travelling together we have a second room available across the hall with its own bathroom. (Inquire for details.)
Please, no personal wipes or other sanitary products flushed down the toilets! Our sewage must be pumped up to the sewer. The word "flushable" is a misnomer, and while those products will flush down the toilet, they will clog and destroy our pump.
I am a retired high school teacher and my husband is retired from the Dept. of Energy. I was born in Brooklyn, lived in California for a few years, much longer in Maryland, and have been here in the Pacific Northwest for the last 24 years. Currently I am a glass artist, doing stained glass windows and lamps and fused art pieces. ((URL HIDDEN)
