We just renovated our house and its gorgeous. New kitchen, new master suite. Sunny, in a safe, friendly neighborhood. Walk to BART or awesome Solano Avenue shops/restaurants. This is our home, but we like to leave town.
Hardwood floors throughout. Remodeled in late 2014. Nice homey space. Wood burning stove. Piano.
We only rent it when we are out of town. But we love to travel, so let us know when you'd like to come, and maybe we'll plan a last-minute trip for ourselves.
You can walk to everything you would ever want. Two neighborhood movie theaters are within ten minutes walk (one to the north, the other to the south). Five minute walk to the famous Solano Avenue, with all the family-owned shops. Great neighbors who are close friends of ours and who will help you if you need anything. Safe neighborhood.
Short pleasant walk to restaurants and to the BART train to San Francisco.

We have a cute, private, fenced-in (not huge) yard with a nice sunny deck. A cottage in the backyard with a treadmill and eliptical machine to burn off the huge meal you make in our great newly renovated kitchen. Nice open space everywhere in the house.

We love our beautiful home. If you are planning on having parties with a lot of booze, this is not the place for you. If you are a family looking to enjoy time together, it is.
Please don't throw parties over ten people.
I am Michael and report to my two direct supervisors: Dylan, age 7, and Juliette, age 6. I run an environmental non-profit, and my wife Melanie works at UC-Berkeley.
We are very clean and responsible, and if you are renting to us, we will treat your home like it is our own. We will leave it cleaner than when we arrived. If you are renting from us, we are easy-going and love to share our home.
The home that is listed is our only home: we live here. So it only gets rented when we travel, and since we have kids in elementary school, that is not as often as we would like. I met Melanie, my wife, when she rented my San Francisco apartment (before AirBNB existed).
