We had such a lovely, relaxing time at the schoolhouse! It's such a beautiful spot, with a stream running just outside and flowers and green everywhere. Jane's tips about local attractions and the stories she told us about the schoolhouse made our trip extra special.

My mom and I had several peaceful days retreat at Jane’s renovated schoolhouse. Everything felt well-considered without being precious: the wood burning stove was ready to light; all tools in the kitchen were easily found; there was even detergent to do a load of laundry. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place to friends. The garden and surrounding woodland are beautiful. We slept soundly, comfortably cooked our meals daily, and were warm on the couple of cool rainy days of our visit – can’t beat a wood burning stove for coziness!

I booked the schoolhouse for a short getaway with girlfriends. It was a wonderful retreat. The inside is clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the morning drinking coffee and relaxing on the porch. Jane was also an excellent host and super easy to communicate with.

Jane is awesome. Runs a bake shop at liberty farmers market. Her pies are awesome too! Look out for a nearby spring flowing into a bathtub on the roadside. Delicious water! Great quiet stay!

Secluded, peaceful spot--we loved listening to the brook that runs through the backyard! The space is itself is huge and unique, and has been renovated/appointed thoughtfully for guests. Recommended!

My friends and I stayed at the schoolhouse for one night and had a great stay! There were six of us in total and we all slept comfortably. The house itself has a rich history that Jane shared with us which made our experience even better, and a wood burning stove which kept us nice and snug at night. Jane was a communicative and super hospitable host and I'd 100% stay here again! The location is great for hitting hiking trails close by.
