Hear the peaceful Sandy River from this classic knotty pine 1930's mountain cabin with a blue tin roof, located on historic Barlow Trail Rd. This cozy cabin is filled with plants and vintage & mid century decor. Get cozy by the wood burning stove, original river rock fireplace, and picture windows. Enjoy the large kitchen with all new appliances, a tranquil outdoor space with beautiful ferns, cedar trees, sun & shade, a fire pit, and a bbq. Check out our discounted weekly & monthly rates!
This cabin is perfect for a couple, two couples, (3 couples if one sleeps on futon in living room), a friends weekend, or a family. We have 2 bedrooms (1 with Q and 1 with K), a very nice Q futon in the living room, and a twin air mattress if you need it. The space is open, yet cozy, charming with a rustic feel, but has modern amenities like dishwasher and new mattresses. The back lawn is peaceful! Watch from the large picture windows as the rain or snow falls while you sit by the wood stove! We are set back away from the road, but you can hear traffic from Barlow Trail Rd if you are in the front yard or have the front windows open...but if you are in the backyard, or only have the river-facing windows open, you mostly only hear the river!
