My sunny '70s 2 bedroom cabin with exposed redwood cathedral beam ceilings has amazing canyon views. There's a hot tub and a small one bedroom outbuilding that's its own little getaway. It's in a very special neighborhood with really nice people.

Their thought and detail is seen everywhere in the house. It's not a big home, but it's designed to maximize space. Exposed redwood cathedral ceilings are in the living room and there are 2 bedrooms. A very large lower deck contains a hot tub, outdoor shower and a small cabin that has a bed. Truly a special getaway the owner has decided to let others enjoy.

I won't be around during the stay, but am available at all times. I can have as much interaction as necessary including the actual stay. I prefer to answer questions and help as much as I can.

It's a one mile walk to the river- head out on the 116 for a short walk to Odd Fellows Road and hang a right. There's a cool bridge and beach area. Continue across the bridge in the summer and you'll get to Korbel. At the house AT&T has the best mobile reception. There is a landline there if needed.
This is not a house for large parties. There is only one bathroom. If it's discovered there are more than the permitted amount of guests during a stay airbnb will be notified. Extra guests beyond the limit of four need to be negotiated with owner. Small dogs are negotiable but I need to discuss this in advance. No cats please. No smoking in the house. I'd prefer to not have smoking on the decks due to possible burns and risk of fire. I expect guests to not be loud at night outside past 9pm to respect the neighbors. Official quiet time is between 10pm and 7am per Sonoma County restrictions. To be considerate of the neighbors please do not have any large parties during the day or night. My place is a relaxing retreat and is best used that way!
Most of the homes in the area like this one use septic systems. Please don't flush any objects beyond normal bathroom usage and toilet paper- it's a very sensitive ecosystem.

My properties are thoughtfully decorated to the period they were designed, yet updated appropriately.
I've been collecting special mid-century furniture, objects and artwork. I'm also into vintage muscle cars. I'm on the board of an organization to document and help preserve buildings of the modern movement. I'm not a big TV watcher, but never tire of the classic TV sitcoms of the past. I don't do reality TV as I'd rather use the time reading about architecture or design! Or going outside.
I love traveling to Europe occasionally, as well as I'll always love Hawaii. I've been to all the islands but Kauai.
My place in Guerneville affords access to great local food, as well as some awesome wineries. I feel fortunate to be so close to such amazing places!
