Our home is new and modern with an open layout your family and guests will love. Professionally decorated, each room is simple yet of the high quality. Large windows and sliding glass doors allow you to experience every sunrise, sunset, and magnificent scenery without ever stepping outside. When you do step out, you step onto two large patios designed for your comfort, a place to relax, read or to entertain. As you dine, the balmy breezes and red rock vistas just add to your enjoyment.

For your privacy, the home has bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends. One bathroom features a large, rain head shower and the other a Jacuzzi tub. Each bedroom opens onto a private patio. The beds, mattresses and linens are of high quality for a good night’s sleep. For your convenience, we have a new stacking washer and dryer, if needed.

If cooking is your passion, look no further. Our vacation home kitchen is complete. All new Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and island. You’ll find all of the cooking tools you need from good, sharp knifes to quality pots and pans. The cupboards are filled with dishes, utensils and glasses, mixing bowls and the main staples – flour, sugar, coffee, spices, plus more. Included are top of the line coffee and tea maker, waffle iron, ice cream /sorbet maker, popcorn popper, pancake griddle, blender, mixer, etc. You’ll love preparing your meals as you look out the 8’ window to the creek below and the clouds forming over the Boulder Mountains.

The east patio has a first-class, gas, BBQ with a beautiful wicker table that seats six. There are also two lounge chairs with ottomans for relaxing and watching for wild turkeys, rabbits, deer and elk that frequent the area. We enjoy our morning coffee watching the sun come up from this patio. The west patio and entrance to the house is best for the views of the red rock vistas and sunsets from the two lounge chairs and ottomans. Both patios are covered for year round enjoyment. Off the patio are gravity loungers for star gazing and a future fire pit for cold nights outside, s’mores and conversations.

We also have all the electronics you’ll need – large screen cable TV, DVD/Blue Ray player, high speed Wi-Fi internet and wireless printer. Relax in front of the fireplace while watching the game or catch up on emails at the desk in the master bedroom.

We are located minutes away from beautiful hiking and biking trails, National Forests, Torrey Town and its restaurants, bars and shopping, and the gateway to Capitol Reef National Park. Other Utah destinations like Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Lake Powell, are within hours drive making our home a perfect base camp.

We are always available for any information or questions you may have about our home and the surrounding area.

A benefit of our home is the proximity to the town, restaurants, bars and Capital Reef National Park. Other things of benefit is it’s one level, heating and air conditioned, multiple large widows to bring the outside in, well stocked kitchen for those of us who love to cook and 2 large patios to entertain on. Wireless printer, ice cream maker, pop corn popper, BBQ, waffle maker, coffee pot and coffee, gravity chairs for star gazing and relaxing.

RENTAL RULES
1.This is a NON SMOKING home. Outside of the home, smoking is allowed, but due to the high fire hazard DO NOT THROW CIGARETTE BUTTS ON THE GROUND! Disposal units are available on the property.
2.People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3.This house is privately owned; the Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
5.Only use appliances for their intended uses
6.Pets are permitted with a $50.00 charge only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed.
7.Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.
8.There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house.
9.The fireplace is a non-vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper
or other combustible materials in the fireplace
10.The house is on a septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.
11.No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.
12.No ATV’s or off road vehicles are allowed on our property or in our development. Please let us know, and we can provide maps of ATV trails in the area.
13.Please respect other home owners in this area by observing common courtesies; no excessive noise, trespassing, etc.

This house was fantastic--clean, modern, well-equipped and with spectacular views. Linda and Martin were terrific hosts and I would definitely stay here again.

Wow. Linda and Martin have thought of everything. We cooked every day and there was nothing we couldn't find in the kitchen! The views are spectacular and the house is lovely and close to town while still private.

Great great great vacation house. Had a great time. Very close to Capitol Reef national park and Torrey is a cute little town. Linda and Martin are absolutely amazing hosts. A vacation house can't get any better than this house. We had everything we needed in this house. And one of the best parts? Pet friendly... Every inch of this house was well designed and well maintained. A perfect vacation house.

We loved our stay and want to return soon! Everything we might need was available, contained in a beautiful open space that was very livable and comfortable. We cooked most meals there, the grill is fabulous! We enjoyed having a base to explore new places.

Linda and Martin have created a wonderful space from which to explore a beautiful part of Utah. They have thought of everything- from the selection of Utah beers waiting in the fridge to the array of area specific books and reading material; from the immaculately appointed kitchen (stocked with all the staples and more!) to the luxurious linens and towels. We were truly On Vacation. The views are spectacular from every window, and we enjoyed watching the snow fall with a fire inside to help keep us warm. Thank You.
