The apartment was nice and well decorated. Vanissa's sisters checked us in. They did not know we were 4, so they did not have any sheets for the sofa bed, we managed one night and the next day the sheets were brought. I slept in the day bed and got bit (not sure what) and woke up with redness in several areas.
Water was rust color for first 30 seconds in the shower, then it was yellowish (apparently that is filtered sea water). Worst part was the water does not drain well and stands in the bathtub. It was 6 inches of dirty standing water in a matter of 5mins. Vanissa said it was the building piping, so nothing could be done. Toilet flush was also slow.
This property is advertised as ocean front and it is not, this is located behind Vista Mar Resort which is ocean front. If you want to go to the beach, you will have to pay $15/person to use the Vista Mar Resort grounds and beach access. Vanissa had mentioned to me the cost was in the range of $4/person. Also, the resort provides breakfast for $10/person downstairs.
In the listing Vanissa does not advertise the name of her place, it is SotoGrande Resort. It is very confusing because she has a beach view picture from Vista Mar in her Airbnb profile.
I would not be staying at this place as the plumbing system needs some refurbishing. Lastly, if I was forced to stay there, I would go directly to the hotel as the price is around $80/night with breakfast and beach pass included.
