Located in the historic core of the city (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site) this beautiful stone house has been in the family for generations and has been carefully renovated in keeping with its original charm. This spacious apartment occupies the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the house, contrasting the restored historical features of the house with the perks of a new renovation. Newly finished hard-wood floors and exposed stone work can be seen throughout.
On the second floor you will find an ample living room, a new eat-in kitchen and a spacious new bathroom with a walk-in shower. The house's original stone hearth has been preserved and incorporated into the new kitchen. It's fully-equipped with range, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave and all the cookware, cutlery, etc needed for preparing home-cooked meals. The living room, featuring original stone alcoves, is furnished with a large sofa that converts into a bed for 2 persons, a large expandable dining table, and wide-screen HDTV. Take the stairs up to the next floor of the house, passing old family photos spanning 5 generations, and you will find two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and views of the Cathedral (plus single sofa-bed), while another bedroom has a queen size bed, a comfortable sofa and exposed stonework. Go up one more floor and you will find a sunny loft (low ceiling), with a sofa that doubles as a bed as well as 2 individual beds that can be placed together for couples. Curl up on the sofa with a good book, or peep out of the skylight for unparalleled views of the Cathedral and rooftops of Santiago de Compostela! Guests will enjoy free wireless internet (wi-fi) and the house is equipped with a new heating and air conditioning system.

This is our family home, so guests are expected to treat it with respect and leave it in tidy and good condition on departure. Please remember that NO SMOKING is allowed in the house and no parties or large gatherings are permitted. All sets of keys and remotes must be returned at check-out. Only guests who form part of the reserved party can be at the property. If you move the furniture, you must move it back to its original position prior to check-out. The host reserves the right upon notice to enter the property for an inspection. Please note that the house does not have an elevator - access to the different floors of the house is via stairs, building entrance is cctv monitored. If you will have luggage sent to the house, you must schedule it to arrive once your stay has already commenced, i.e. you cannot schedule delivery unless you are there to personally receive it. If you lock yourself out of the apartment, a lock-out fee of 25 euros will apply. By booking the apartment, guests acknowledge that failure to observe these simple rules will result in termination of the stay and forfeiture of the rental fee & deposit. Please be sure to take all your belongings with you on check-out as we cannot be responsible for items left behind. Check-in is after 3:30pm and check-out is by 10:30am. Disappearing from the apartment without meeting for the scheduled check-out will result in a 50€ deposit deduction. Check-in/out between the hours of 11pm-8am is subject to a 20€ surcharge.
