Great place! A really breathtaking view from your room up to the every corner of the place. Every details of its interior design is nice. There's a lot of fresh flowers in the place since they had an event days before we came. Yes, they also held events like debuts and wedding in their place. The kitchen is well equipped. We didn't bring utensils anymore, saves space (on the car) and dalahin. You can buy water from their staff, for the whole group (1 big container) placed in their hot and cold water dispenser. Only for P70 :) All staff are friendly and approachable. They are all very helpful. Upon our check in, their staff told us one of our rooms' comfort room (toilet bowl) is clogged up. But it's okay since we booked the main house, (4 rooms) and each room has its own rest room, our family from that room can freely go the next door room if they need to go. Going to the beach is a little long trek. So for the elderly or injured or not fit or just don't like a long very steep walk during a sunny hot day, don't go the beach. But, if you like the beach, I will definitely advise you to go! Aqua shoes is also advised since the beach is rocky, lots of large and small stones and pebbles. You can walk a little further and explore the rock formations on the shore. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. We celebrated my nephews small birthday party with our family. Thank you again to klaus and gemma. My family and future in-laws and my friends really enjoyed your beautiful home, and the beach! Highly recommend

Our stay at Casa Amara was worth the long drive and every peso spent. It was the perfect runaway place from all the stressors of the city. Everyone was in awe of the beauty of the place. Every room, every corner was well thought of. Not to mention the food - it's definitely not your typical excursion menu. Truly amazed how they came up with those yummy dishes with ingredients picked from the garden. Awesome experience!

We requested a stay at Gemma's last minute (literally 1 am the morning of the stay) and she was not only responsive but incredibly helpful, providing information and directions to the lovely resort. The purpose of our trip was a family beach getaway (14 people with two drivers) for a few days and Casa Amara comfortably accommodated all of us. The staff at the resort was friendly and made us feel at home. We were able to cook our own food, use the swimming pool for as long as we wanted, and enjoyed the amazing vistas of the coastline. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great time bonding with family. Just a few notes: We initially thought that we would have the whole house to ourselves since the place was described as a private resort. While we were able to reserve the whole penthouse for ourselves, some of the family was caught off guard when we were told other guests would be there. So, just a heads up, there's a possibility that other guests will be at the resort. Also, the location is secluded, which makes a very peaceful and tranquil getaway. But, it is a little tricky getting to the place. Gemma and Klaus sent very helpful directions though. Finally, the beach has beautiful coral reefs that are amazing. But most of the beach is rocky and not your traditional soft, white sand beaches, so bring some water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks. While none of these things were deemed as negatives to our experience, I thought they'd be useful points for future guests to know about. With that being said, a great, "off-the-radar" find and would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Amara!

Surely, it was an experience to cherish! I thoroughly enjoyed the company and the hosts were very gracious throughout my whole stay. If you are looking for a remote place to find a bit of peace in the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila, look no further! There's nothing quite like the sight of the ocean to lift one's spirits! The beach was beautiful, and a joy to explore. The beach was of light coarse texture with plenty of shells. The surrounding beach was easily accessible either through the stairs, or by the ramp. It makes for a brisk ten minute walk. Despite the fact that my stay was in the middle of a typhoon, the warmth I felt during my stay was as if I was family. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Amara!
