Bright, two-bedroom apartment (sleeps up to 3 in two separate sleeping rooms) in Stefansgade area close to hip bars, cafés and shops. Area known as "Little Berlin". Big balcony with summer sun 11am-6pm. High speed wifi and all amenities. My place is located close to where Sollerodgade meets Stefansgade.
I wish you to have a great time but please respect: no late night loud parties - I like my neighbours and they like me. Smoking only on the balcony - and no pets, please :-)
I'm a journalist working between New York, the Balkans (based in Belgrade) and Copenhagen. I'm out of Copenhagen in longer stretches of time due to work and therefore renting out my space. As you'll see on my bookshelves I studied philosophy but stumbled into journalism, worked six years as a foreign affairs multimedia correspondent for the National Danish News Agency on assignments from the US and Haiti over Bolivia to Kosovo and Nepal. In 2013 I moved to the Balkans that I have been covering on and off for now more than 10 years. In 2014 I moved to New York to do an MA at Columbia University in New York. Currently I'm a fellow at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation at Columbia University and in 2015 and forward I'll be in Belgrade/NYC/CPH working among other assignments on a project about Yugo-monuments in the Balkans with an American landscape architect and a Dutch photographer.
I like House of Cards and Seinfeld, to bake bread and play soccer, table tennis and squash. Lastly, but not least I grew up on a farm 70 km from Copenhagen and know how to drive a tractor :-)
