Janelle was a top-notch hostess and her unit was very comfortable. Not only was she understanding of my in-flux travel schedule but went above and beyond by showing me the local nightlife - we saw a grammy nominated artist down the road from her place for free! The place itself was very comfy. Everything was clean, and the queen bed was very cozy. The place is across the street from Miami's oldest open-air fruit vendor and it is a five minutes from Domino Park, cigar shops and handmade cortadito stands. The area is less developed but it makes it a good escape from the hi-rises in downtown Miami.

We had a wonderful stay at The Firehouse in the lively neighbourhood that is Little Havana. Great food and music and friendly locals! The room was spotless and perfect for our needs. Janelle is an extremely generous host - warm and caring, with a lovely energy, and so great to talk with about the broader history of this interesting area. We feel lucky to have spent some time with her.

Janelle was a wonderful host. There really are no words to describe how comfortable I felt at her place, me and my 7 lb service dog, Lola. Janelle has a little beauty as well, Zoe and Lola and Zoe shared some bonding moments the few times I was there. Janelle is a warm, open, young woman with an exuberant, friendly disposition and a wonderful smile that makes one feel relaxed and welcomed. I got to spend some time with her and her friend Maya at a very interesting, cultural outing and also met her father on his birthday as Janelle graciously invited me to share with them on his special day. I felt blessed to have witnessed genuine father/daughter affection and exchanged conversation which made me feel like an old friend. I am only sorry I didn't get to meet Maria, the mom, but hope to do so in my next visit as when I return to Florida this would be the place to stay, if it is available. The ambiance is the shot of Cubanness I needed as I was born there but left as a young child and live in a small coastal California town where, as far as I know, I am the only Cuban. The area is quaint and reminded me of my roots everywhere I looked. There is the Cuban torch across the street with busts of our heroes, a Ceiba tree, revered by the Yoruba religious people of Cuba, wonderful, inexpensive food almost downstairs, and music and life pouring out of the businesses, specially on the weekend. I just loved the place. If you want a taste of Little Havana, being treated as not just a tenant, and love great food, this is the place for you.

Work brought me for two weeks to Miami. As I wanted to see a bit more than Brickells business district I opted to live in Little Havanna. The apartment is beautiful and Janelle a very welcoming and caring host. All - Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Wynwood, Cocnut Grove and Brickell is close and can be reached with a car in 10-15 min. Have fun!

Janelle is such a great host! Super lovely!! And her dog is such a cute little fella! Her place is right next to Nuevo Siglo supermarket that sells affordable Cuban food. It's delicious! I had many breakfasts and dinners there, super recommended. Try the "Churrasco" whenever you can. Thank you for the great stay, Janelle!
