I will be happy to give you any information I can provide on your stay in Amman. If I have free time, I can also pick you up from the airport or drop you off for a minimum price.

When you come to Amman, depending on which nationality, you will have to buy a visa upon arrival at the airport. For that you will need to change some of your currency into Jordanian Dinars. My tip would be not to change too much money at the airport because the exchange rate is not great. You can change more money in town at far better rates. If you plan to take a taxi into town, my suggestion would be to take an official airport taxi outside the arrival gate (beige colored). Rates are fixed between 20 and 25 Jordanian Dinars to Amman. Non-official taxis might approach you but I would not advise taking one of those as you have the risk of being ripped off.
You are welcome to buy your own food and use the kitchen to prepare it.
Guests are allowed, but please coordinate with me so I can organize for my own guests as well.
Please let no people inside the house which you do not know.
I am a 56 year old single male, Belgian nationality, living in Amman Jordan. I live here since 15 years and bought a way too big apartment for me to live in, hence I am seeking guests to stay temporarily with me. I am an art deco, art nouveau, jugendstil collector, and so my home reflects this very much. I am also a movie buff and I have a large collection of The Third Man movie memorabilia decorating certain rooms in my place. As for my job, I work within humanitarian aid, nowadays very involved in the Syria refugee crisis. I am hosting on Airbnb since the last 3 years, and I enjoy hosting guests from all over the world very much.
