Kingfisher Lodge on Coochie (Pet friendly)

Welcome to Kingfisher Lodge on Coochie :) If you are after a place to unwind, relax and touch base with nature, this is the holiday destination for you. Coochie is approximately 35 kms from Brisbane CBD and 1 km off the mainland from Victoria Point. Access via the passenger ferry or vehicular barge, $80 return. Coochie boasts 4 kms of white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, beach walking, kayaking, boating and fishing. The Lodge is located on the Main Beach side, a 200m stroll to the beach.

Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

The Hillside House

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. Enjoy a relaxing stay in the stunning bayside suburb of Shorncliffe, 17 kms north of Brisbane CBD. The ‘Sunday Sleep-Inn’ is a spacious self-contained studio situated on the ground floor of our renovated Queenslander home. We keep the door locked between the studio and the house and there are no shared areas. There is private external access and ample street parking. Surrounded by natural beauty, with parks and waterways on our doorstep and a 10 min. walk to Shorncliffe train station.

Our club is close, and pubs, clubs and restaurants on nearby islands. Enjoy the sea (including kayaks) from our lawn at high tide, bicycles, and a spa-pool on request. The suite includes a queen bed (only), sea views, a kitchen, bathroom and an outside patio overlooking the bay. There is aircon. No cleaning fee.

It's a short drive to the rainforest walks, brewery, wineries, artisan cheese factory, the famous Gallery Walk, wedding venues and many other local restaurants and attractions of Tamborine.
