The Captain's Table is less than a 5 min drive from the guesthouse and a great place to eat. We really enjoy the fish and chips with house tartar sauce and, in general, all their seafood. Be sure to leave room for desert, the chocolate lava cake is amazing.

When craving a moose burger, the Riverside Restaurant and Lounge is always satisfying. Our favorite is the classic moose burger platter. You can eat your burger in the restaurant, outside on a deck overlooking the ocean, or take it to go and eat it on the fisherman's wharf just down the lane from the restaurant.

Get all the classic breakfasts cooked to perfection, and enjoy good coffee and tea inside the restaurant or outside on their deck overlooking Witless Bay. The park itself has some great walking trails along easy boardwalks, a massive inland lake perfect for swimming and paddling, playgrounds for kids, outdoor picnic areas, and a multitude of campgrounds from rustic to fully serviced.

The trial takes you past towering cliffs and headlands, sea stacks, deep fjords, and a natural wave-driven geyser called the Spout. Experience abandoned settlements, lighthouses, ecological reserves, seabird colonies, whales, icebergs, the world's southernmost caribou herd, historic sites, a 50-metre suspension bridge, two active archaeological dig sites, and many more attractions. The East Coast Trail is right at our back yard. There are services in the area, who will pick you up at your destination where and when you are ready.
