The Farnsworth is our pride and joy as far as art. It has a beautiful and comprehensive collection of the Wyeth family art, as well as works by Robert Indiana (during the summer, his “EAT” work is mounted to the corner of the roof of the museum!). The Breakwater is in Rockland. The lighthouse is a mile out from the shore of Penobscot Bay, connected by a huge granite walkway – VERY special! It’s a beautiful walk, a nice place to relax and do a bit of people watching too. (Make sure to bring a sweater or windbreaker)
