Coffee Shops

There are literally hundreds of coffee shops in Seattle, and it's hard to find a bad cup. Even most of the greasy spoon cafes serve up Caffe Vita beans freshed brewed to perfection. Here are just a few of our favorite spots around the city. Enjoy!

When I first moved to Seattle, I started asking my favorite baristas for *their* favorite coffeeshop in Seattle, and Milstead consistently came up. Makes sense - this place offers a best of the best curation of coffees from around the country, and the incredibly kind baristas serve them up to perfection. Right in the heart of Fremont near the Troll and the Burke Gilman, it's also a perfect place to fuel up while exploring.

This funky spot is not only representing the world reknowned espresso company, it's serving up your morning jo' to the live tunes and words of our beloved local radio station, KEXP, which shares the coffeeshop space. Cozy up in the couches or slow sip at one of their many tables and enjoy a slow morning before exploring the Space Needle, Chihuly, and other landmarks closeby.
