One really original place to see. This is one of the traditional „baths“ - still offering retreats. Besides the ancient baths, they have a nice restaurant serving all kinds of traditional foods (try Käsnudel! A local kind of dumpling with herbs- cheese filling) and Kaiserschmarrn (best for sweet teeth ;-) )
Karlbad - Königstuhl

Great options for walks, runs, nordic walking. Amazing Scenery (Grünsee, Turrachersee).

- Grab a bike and do a tour around the lake; starting at „Charlie‘s Seelaunge“ (there are bikes for rent as well); Duration: approx. 2 hours
- Go up to „Gasthof Bergfried“ enjoy a beautiful view over the lake while sipping on a local cider and enjoying the smell off fresh grass.
- Simply enjoy a day at the lake. „Strandbad Sittlinger“ beach recommended (try their homemade icecream! )
- Sundowner at Charlie‘s Seelounge; (also nice starting point for walks in the woods alongside the lake.

Nice town at the Wörthersee. Casino, Restaurants, Beachbars. Nice contrast to the alpine scenery and only 40 minutes drive.
