Award-winning pizza place. Lines can get long and there is very little seating. If the weather is nice, a spot on the patio can’t be beat. Upshur St. in Petworth - take the 62/63 bus south for about 10 min.

Metro gets you the furthest. Uber/Lyft are very convenient
Google Maps is your friend, their multi-modal transit directions work great all over DC. Ft. Totten Metro. 15-20 min walk to the Briya Charter School on Gallatin St - a footpath connects with the metro station. All trains go downtown. The E4 bus stop is on 3rd and Kennedy St (The line runs from Tenleytown/American Uni to Ft. Totten). The 62/63 stops are on 5th and Madison and connects Takoma with Petworth. If it’s cold and rainy, try Uber/Lyft ~$15-30 to and from downtown
