We love driving down to the tea rooms (15-20 min drive) for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea. Soup of the day is always delicious. The scones are great too. Great place for kids as there is plenty of space to run around and often farm animals to say hello to.

Great day out at scenic world. Ride the train down in to the valley. Be sure to get a front seat- even if you have to wait in line. Lovely walks at the bottom. Take a picnic
