Food scene

Reuben's has a great tap list and is iconic in the local craft-beer scene. There's always a rotating selection of food-trucks handy, too!

Mom-and-pop operated craft beer space, and it's usually on the quieter side for a more relaxed evening out. They have a great covered, spacious, outdoor deck and usually have a nightly food truck on premises!

Peddler's beers are inventive and tasty (some of my faves include the horchata cream ale and the phaze IPA). There's a big back covered patio that often hosts movies, dog days, bands, and one of the best food trucks, Cycle Dogs (full disclosure, CD is vegan but you won't miss the meat).

This Scandinavian-styled, metal-themed brewery is a couple of minutes out of Ballard, but worth the visit. Holy Mountain specializes in funky saisons.
