Guardsman Pass is a must do for summer. National scenic byway over 10,000 ft pass from Brighton to Park City (see our guide for favs in PC) or the quaint Swiss Village of Midway and Wasatch Mountain Golf (ranked in 10 best public courses in US). Narrow road with very sharp turns. Can be very crowded at peak times. Morning drive recommended, very early if you want to park and check vista or hike from many trails off the byway.

Spectacular alpine lakes Mary, Martha and Catherine are on nearly every Utah hiking bucket list. Named for the Brighton family’s three daughters, the lakes are local gems. Watch for moose, wildflowers and fresh air!
