City/town information
Ouray isn’t too many miles from here, it’s just a very curvy, mountainous highway. It’s a little town settled in between beautiful mountains, on the drive up you can stop at a waterfall.
Once arriving there are many hikes that offer waterfalls, a lake, views, etc. You can do the entire loop of the Perimeter Trail, on the harder side of Moderate and can take long if you stop to admire everything (which you’ll want to), or drive to different points and do smaller hikes to experience the waterfalls.

About 3 hours from the condo! Take the Gondola up the Telluride ski mountain in the summertime and walk around the top with great views, or enjoy skiing in the winter.
Take the long way home and drive through the forest with a chance to see deer or other wildlife!

Mesa Verde is beautiful on it’s own, and also has ancient carvings on the side of the canyons that you can hike to. Make sure if you do the petroglyph trail you get a trail map!
You can do different trails up at the top, or just drive from scenic points, pull over and take some beautiful pictures.
