Tallulah Falls Gorge State Park has plenty of trails for enjoying the amazing views of the gorge and the waterfall.
If you have not experienced this natural attraction yet, we highly recommend it. Be aware these trails require a good deal of physical exertion and climbing ability. A popular feature is the long suspension bridge that crosses over the gorge.

Past Highands is Dry Falls, an easy-access attraction that is less strenuous than other activities, but no less rewarding.
This waterfall is an excellent alternative to the more crowded (and more strenuous) Tallulah Falls. There is a viewing platform at the trailhead that’s wheelchair and stroller accessible, offering great views of the falls. There’s also a short, relatively easy paved trail that arcs down to the falls and dives behind the towering, 65’ waterfall, exploring a small cave and catching some breezy mist from the falls.

On your way to Dry Falls, this waterfall is visible right from the roadway. With a 120-foot direct drop, this waterfall sometimes displays a rainbow in the afternoon light and sometimes freezes during the cold winter months.
This is a wonderful tourist attraction to stop and take pictures, but it is not a destination trip in itself.
