Sightseeing
It's the only fortress in Europe that was NEVER taken. It's called Gibraltar on Danube. It has web of catacombs under it, with 7 or even 9 stories down. There are legends that one tunnel was going under Danube to the other side, to center of Novi Sad. Another urban legend was that one tunnel is going straight to Budapest :)

Parks & Nature
There are spots where you can still see eagles, just half an hour ride from center of the city. All Fruška Gora is covered with old woods, and also marked trekking paths. This place is powerful. :)

Futoška pijaca (or Futoska market) is close to the flat, and offers everything, from homemade cheese or homegrown vegetables, to new clothes or plumbing parts. It's old fashioned market.

Big music festival, several years in a row selected to be the best music festival in Europe. With more than 20 stages, located in the old fortress, this is really event to experience, if you are in Novi Sad in the beginning of July (usually second weekend).
