This beautiful National Park borders the property. Entrance to the park is just 3 mins away. This park a has a visitors center with helpful information and gifts. You can also take a fabulous 8 mile loop drive and enjoy the beauty Tucson has to offer. Our family is in this park weekly. It has difficult hiking/biking trails as well as easier walks great for children and beginners!

We love this place. You can take a tram up the canyon or hike one of the many trails. We find cool swimming holes in the summer after the rains. The love I have for this beautiful place runs deep and generations back. Go into the visitor center, get a map and some advice on what to do. A run/walk at sunset up and the main road in the evening (after the tram stops for the day) is a Local favorite and something I always bring my out of town friends to.

If you are going to go to one place in Tucson for breakfast go to Baja! Truly the best and most unusual variety. It can get kind of busy so prepare yourself for a potential wait. SO SO worth it!

Beautiful Hike with swimming the right time of year.
Hike to water and amazing views at sunset! I don't hike all the way in with my younger kids. But its still worth a shorter hike to get a good view of the Tanque Verde Valley if you stop halfway!

Take a trip up to Mt. Lemmon many trails to explore or take a trip to the Cookie Cabin or get a huge slice of pizza! A great 45min trip to get out of the heat in the summer!
