In the summer it's great for picnics, fishing or even camping. Many forest roads around this area for a day drive in nature. Streams, meadows, wildlife, and gorgeous views. In the fall this drive is especially beautiful for the changing colors with pine, birch, oak, and aspen trees.

Great food either in the bar or a great steakhouse dinner in the main dining room. The patio seating in the bar area has a very nice and cozy fireplace. The chuckwagon (like a french dip with green chilies) is my favorite lunch and they have a huge cobbler portion with ice cream for dessert.
