This little lake town is just about 15 minutes away, and has a marina where you can rent nice boats by the hour. It also has antique stores and large flea markets in good weather.

Jump over the state line to Copperhill for adorable little boutiques and riverside restaurants. Seasonal fun as well such as a mini train to ride around town at Christmas.
