Watch for fire bans
Sometimes the town bans wood fires due to the dry weather. You can find this by simply searching “Huntsville fire rating” online. There is never day time burning allowed so only after 6pm if it’s not banned. Before lighting up please be sure you’re not breaking the rules. The gas fire pit by the back door is always allowed!

Be sure to pack bug spray and sun screen. It’s sun all day down on our dock! Evenings can be cool even in the middle of summer so bring a sweater if you want to do some late night star gazing
