Remote, rural community with wonderful walks and abundant wildlife including deer, seals, otters & birds (eagles, birds of prey, owls etc). Fasach is on left side just over crest of hill into Glendale with stunning sunrises/sunsets with view expanding down the Glen over Loch Poolteil to the outer Hebrides. There is a local shop/post office with eco friendly policies in centre and two eating places. Cafe Lephin opposite the shop and Chidakasha vegetarian tearoom in holmisdale. Local storyteller, author & historian George Macpherson lives in Fasach (contact: 01470511340).
