Friendly, ethical local shop with post office in centre of Glendale. Providing for your shopping needs during your stay.
Remote, rural community with wonderful walks and abundant wildlife including deer, seals, otters & birds (eagles, birds of prey, owls etc). Fasach is on left side just over crest of hill into Glendale with stunning sunrises/sunsets with view expanding down the Glen over Loch Poolteil to the outer Hebrides. There is a local shop/post office with eco friendly policies in centre and two eating places. Cafe Lephin opposite the shop and Chidakasha vegetarian tearoom in holmisdale. Local storyteller, author & historian George Macpherson lives in Fasach (contact: 01470511340). Glendale has wonderful sunsets and sunrises, the chance of spotting the Northern lights and enjoy the spectacular night sky.
