This place is also called "City of Refuge". We highly recommend checking it out for some Hawaiian history. Nearby is what the locals call "Two Step" where you can go snorkeling.

We like stopping here on a trip around the island. Be careful as sometimes the waves can be rough and wear fins if necessary :)

Beautiful view of the valleys. This is the other side of the valleys opposite of Waipio valley. Here you can enjoy the view from the lookout or take the hike down to the beach. *not great for swimming
