If you were wanting a place to yourself this beach is in Okato. the beach is sandy with some wild surf on the day. Plenty of beach and space to walk miles in either direction!

Pukeiti is famous for its Rhododendron Festival from October each year. It is also a peaceful quiet place in nature to visit. there are plenty of hiking tracks a visitors centre and cafe.
