If you are arriving by plane, your best bet is to take the train (not the metro, at least not till 2017 when the new line is done) to CPH central station and walk the 5 min to our flat.

Sightseeing
Tivoli is an absolute must on your trip to Copenhagen, and being so close you really don't have an excuse not to go. We love it and have yearly entry cards and recommend it immensely.

This building is amazing - and it's just next to the Strøget (walking street) with a lot of shops and sights.

The Planetarium itself is great if you have kids - however, the steps next to the channels is what this place is all about! Bring a bottle of wine or a picnic basket and relax in the sun

Copenhageners agree that this is the best coffee in town. They have a minimalistic, but great breakfast and sandwich for lunch as well.

One of our favourite and very cheap Japanese home cooked food restaurants. Sally loves the Bento box with salmon, while Ulrik opts in for the ramen. They have a killer Japanese veggie pancake as well.

Very good and VERY Scandinavian take away joint in the Meatpacking district. We often go for the fish cakes with salad and rye bread. Yum!
