A very interesting part of town. Don't forget to cross the water and see the amazing houses hidden there. Christiania has a lot of nice cafés, restaurants, music venues and shops.
It is mostly safe, but the free spirited place unfortunately also attracts crime.

It used to be a church, but it has been transformed into a cultural centre with events, markets, etc. The common dining is a very nice (and very Danish) experience, don't miss it! Prebooking is a good idea.
