Small plates, lots to choose from. This is our go to restaurant and we've never been disappointed. The Hole in the Head is flambe style and is a must try through the winter. Hint - be sure to watch the bartender make this one! Live jazz music most weekend nights.

This is the second Wicked Weed location and houses their sour selection. If you haven't ever tried a sour, take a taster or flight first. It is an acquired taste but a worthy experience for any beer drinker and a must do for the Sour Sommelier.

Mt Mitchell is the highest peak east of the Mississippi! There are two routes to the summit. One is a short walk from the parking lot and the other is a more difficult day hike.

Check out the Drum Circle on Fridays starting at 7pm from April through October. I'm not sure there's really anything like it.

This is the largest private residence in the country and part of the reason Asheville is on the map. The house is packed with old, expensive things. Get the audio tour to really appreciate the history. The gardens are a must see.
