Brixton village is an old shopping centre that is full of quirky, independent cafes, restaurants &vintage shops. Well worth a visit on the weekend, or on a Thursday or Friday night when it opens late.

Greenwich is a beautiful part of London. The Observatory is set in a park with great views. Get the 177 bus to Greenwich from the bus stop at the end of Carlton Grove, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes.
