Parks & Nature
This is one of the top tourist attractions in Wellington. Take a lovely walk out along the rugged coast. In the right season you can find a seal colony and there are usually spectacular views out across to the South Island.

It is a little hilly but boasts some lovely walks through the bush. A great children's playground and a slightly quicker route if you want to walk into the city.
