Village House Coffee
8251 IN-64Our favorite local coffee shop! We stop in almost every day.
Huber's Orchard and Winery is famous for fall-time. Pumpkin hay-rides, apple picking, and lots of goodies like caramel apples in the market. But the farm is open year-round and we visit often. The winery area has a beautiful stone patio with lots of seating. It's great to get together with friends, get a glass of wine (or pitcher of Sangria), order a Marguerita pizza, and listen to some live music. The kids love the U-pick section, one of the nicest playgrounds I've been to ($5pp), the market, and restaurant.

The New Albanian Brewing Company Pizzeria & Public House

Tight quarters and can get a little stuffy. You'll find people with small kids here, although the bar is very prominent and it gets congested - the food is worth it! It's truly a hidden gem (no, that's not a house, you're in the right spot). I suggest the duck tacos. Get there right at 5pm!

It's truly a hidden gem (no, that's not a house, you're in the right spot). I suggest the duck tacos. Get there right at 5pm!

Mount Saint Francis is a beautiful seminary/retreat center, open to the public. They have beautiful hiking trails, a lake, and old carved statues scattered around the acres. Perfect place for an easy, relaxing hike.
