Red Rocks Ampitheatre is the iconic music ampitheatre, but it's always a great place to visit during the day and walk around, read about the history, and enjoy the views from the top of Denver.

If you want a quick hike outside of Denver with view from the top of Denver, right next to Red Rocks Ampitheatre, try Matthews Winters Park. One of my favorites for getting away into the Foothills, without having to drive into the mountains. Make sure to pack a snack (maybe lunch!) and bring water along.

Where ever you are from, Celestial Seasonings tea is available worldwide, and you probably didn't know that they are located just 40 minutes from Denver in Boulder, Colorado. While you're there, get AS MUCH free tea as you want! Sample new product, try teas that are not-yet released, and buy a couple boxes that you can't find in your home grocery store. The peppermint room is not to be missed! You really can't go wrong. And there is so much more to do in Boulder, stop by a brewery, hike the Flat Irons, walk around the CU Boulder campus or walk Pearl Street.
