Places to Eat!

If you want to go sit down to eat, these are places we have dined at and enjoyed.
Easy, affordable option if you want to order pizza for pick up or avoid parking down town . They have different crust options as well which are popular. No TV's if you're looking to sit down and eat. Have ordered here many times.

Great option in the heart of downtown. Pizzas and pastas are both excellent. Usually a wait time 45 minutes or so. Also next door to the best ice cream shop in Big Bear. Saucy Mamas or Fire Rock are next door and a coinflip for our family to eat at every time we are in Big Bear.

Favorite restaurant good for group of friends, couples or families. Excellent beer and cocktail menu, appetizers, and entrees. Performers on the patio on certain weekends and also at the entrance of down town.

This one is one is on the other side of down town from the cabin. Maybe a 10 minute drive. Solid Mexican food, we often find ourselves here for lunch or late breakfast after "long nights".

The view is the key. This is the best view in Big Bear Lake. The food is good, not great. We wouldn't recommend for dinner as there are better options at their price downtown, but for a place to relax and have appetizers and drinks and take in the view, this is a great option.

Good view of the lake, solid food, don't have to deal with down town, always friendly. If you want to go out to Mexican food and not have a long wait to eat or deal with parking, this is a good option.

Great option, the burgers are excellent, the kids always love this location (giant chalkboard for them to write on) and it's in the heart of down town. Saucy Mamas and Fire Rock are next door and a coin-flip for our family which one to eat at every time we are in Big Bear.

Sightseeing

You probably see cars parked along the road as you are entering town with people walking towards the trail entrance. This is a relatively short hike (2.2 miles?) with an awesome view of the lake. Not too challenging, kids can do it.

Food pick-up

These are quick options to go and grab food for the cabin.
Walking distance or a very short drive from the cabin. Good quick location to get coffee and donuts (or breakfast burritos) in the morning. They have vegan donut options as well.

A quick drive without having to go down town. The burgers are excellent, picture a homemade In-n-Out. They will bring the food to your car as well which is convenient.
