Unique atmosphere. This place is huge, but also almost always full of people. The coffee is good, but service not so personal. Its hipster central and good for people watching. They are a bakery and early in the morning you can get your bread there. Also they don't have WiFi.

A solid spot to get burgers and fries and some cool beer. You can people watch if you sit outside and late at night there is a stage on the 2nd flood for life music. This is an iconic Fishtown bar that has been there for many years.

Steap and Grind is where to locals hang out to work. Across the street from a beautiful part, the shop itself is nothing special, but the atmosphere is friendly and they have a few outdoor tables.

Best lunch place ever. I absolutely love their soup and half a sandwich special. For the vegetarians, there is an amazing beet and goat cheese sandwich.

Awesome beer garden with what it seems infinite choice of German beer. They do serve some limited food and have ping-pong tables and jenga to play. VERY crowded in the weekend, but come early enough and its a family place.

Local secret spot. When all the bars are full on Frankfort street you go there. The food is pretty good - Mexican/American pub food. Amazing happy hour and when you go early enough, you can bring the kids and its usually pretty empty.
