The Portes du Soleil covers over 650km of piste with many ski stations across the area. We have listed the main ones that we think might be useful to you. Sam & Jonathan will be happy to help you if you are still struggling to work out the Geography of the area. Also, it's important to gauge the groups skiing abilities to make sure everyone fulfills their trip.

Based at the foot of The Chavannes piste, 10minutes by car, in the centre of Les Gets, you will find the ticket office for your Ski passes. Central location, close to a variety of ski hire shops, restaurants, shopping and an underground carpark.

Perfect for beginners, great place to park the car for the day, with restaurants, sunny spot for sunbathing, close to the Indiana Park and Milka Run, ideal for those travelling with non skiers who want to feel part of the action.

Neighbourhoods
A couple of suggestions if you fancy ditching the skis/snowboards for a day and taking a wander around the local area.
In winter, despite the many centimeters of snow covering the roofs of the chalets, the village of Lindarets remains a real playground, especially for winter sports enthusiasts ... Crossed by the Abricotine, one of the longest slopes from the domain of Montriond-Avoriaz, the village becomes the benchmark for gourmets who do not fail to make a gourmet stopover in one of its many restaurants.

The Chevrelles restaurant is located on Mont Caly, at an altitude of 1490m, a few kilometers above Les Gets. The view over the region and the Mont Blanc massif is spectacular.
It is in an authentic decor, an old farmhouse transformed and tastefully decorated, that you can taste traditional dishes: tartiflette, reblochonnade, raclette, fondue, Savoyard plate, soup & blueberry tart
