Although Pergamino is a better atmosphere, I love the 'granizados' frozen coffee at Juan Valdez. I go here almost every morning.

You can't come to visit Medellin without taking a stroll around the center of the "Zona Rosa", or night life area. There's tons of mainstream shops, restaurants and bars here.

Sightseeing
This is the nearest get on/off point for the local Turibus tour bus service. It's also the best place to come and see the eclectic mix of people congregate at night to drink cheap beers and relax.

The gardens themselves are nice, but nothing compared to other bigger cities, however it's great for a Sunday picnic and I highly recommend the restaurant and the orchid display.

This is the hippest and trendiest place to go out at the moment. Levels 5 through 7 are filled with cool bars, restaurants and clubs. There's also an excellent gym.
