The second-to-last time I ate McDonald's was in 2003. I remember, because it was during a breakup. That guy loved his Big Macs! The last time I ate in McDonald's, I was in Thailand, and McDonald's had the best air conditioning -
sometimes you just gotta chill out! There's also something to be said for predictable. Oh, and it's open 24 hours.

I have yet to get in to OEB next door due to line-up issues, so have ended up at Diner Deluxe for a few brunches -- but have always been super happy about it. The coffee (Phil & Sebastian) and menu are both awesome. If you go to OEB, let me know what you think.

More top quality coffee, plus some ice cream options and things like this... no seating; people go for the coffee, or to browse the records, or buy eco-friendly cleaning products, or use the post-office.... it's got a lot going on. Trendy, but an institution.
