Fantastic food & beer!! Amazing, cool, rustic atmosphere in a great part of town. The burgers are an absolute must to have here -so mouth watering, juicy, and delicious. The beers are even better. There's something here for everyone! Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boise! There are two locations in Boise: downtown and Bown Crossing (which is 3 minutes from our location). I LOVE the sweet potato fries, bison burgers, and maple bacon brussels! They also have local beers and wines available!

Table Rock Trail is a 3.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Boise, Idaho that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Little to NO shade, no water, takes an average person about 45mins. The view from the top is incredible and highly recommended!

The pool is perfect for a hot day. Gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but the crowd is always friendly. Plenty of guards to keep people safe. As well as a pool there are tennis courts, a baseball field and small playground. Easy access for pedestrians and bikers as well as lots of parking.

The Village is a newer shopping destination for locals and visitors alike. The fountain courtyard is always busy with people talking and enjoying each other's company, with places for kids to play. There are nice fire pits and heating lamps for the cooler weather. There are a number of nice restaurants with patio dining and great Happy Hour choices, as well as walk up counters with quicker fare. The Village Theatre is also excellent and a great evening on Tuesday $5 night. There is a great selection of quality shops

I love going to the farmer's market every Saturday. There are plenty of local farms and businesses with great products at reasonable prices. It's always a good way to spend Saturday morning and very family friendly.

Barber Park rents tubes to float the Boise River. Transportation is provided by buses. I think floating the river throughout Boise is a great way to spend a sunny day!

This park has trails that go for miles. Popular with off road biking, hikers, and nature lovers. Great place to see local plants and birds. On the backside of the hill there are creeks and ponds. Beautiful views of downtown and Owyhee range on clear days.

Great park with mature trees. There is a lot of shade here which is great. The green belt cuts through this park and it is also home to Boise's zoo.

It is my favorite trail in Idaho! It is about 8.5 miles round trip but is generally flat until about half a mile from the destination. This last stretch is steep but most definitely worth the sweat—as you approach the rock protruding form the trees, you get to see how big this rock actually is.
Getting There
From Boise, take Bogus Basin Road 13.1 miles to a small parking area just off of the road to the left. The trail begins from this parking area and the path is easy to locate below.
