My Favorite Restaurants
Here are some of my favorite restaurants here in Oahu.
If you like sushi, you should definitely try this place. It's affordable, fresh and delicious. My favorites are spicy tuna and udon, soft shell crab, salmon belly, and the dragon roll.
Due to limited seats and popularity, there's always a long line there. If you don't want to wait, you can always do a take out.
This place is only about 5 - 10 minutes drive from our place.

Zippy's is well known to locals. It's open 24/7 and the closest one is about 5 - 10 minutes drive from our place. It is known for their fried chicken, chili with rice OR chili with rice and fried chicken, Zip Pac, Korean fried chicken and many more. Because it's a big restaurant, there's no line most of the time.

Feel like eating delicious breakfast and lunch? Try Koa Pancake House. My favorites are Butter Mochi Pancake, Fresh Strawberry & Whip, Koa Omelette, Crab Benedict, and Crabby Patty.
This place is only open between 6:30am - 2:00pm and it's only 5 - 10 minutes drive from our place.

Roy Yamaguchi is a very well known Chef. We are lucky to have one of his restaurant in Ko Olina resort. It's known for sushi & shashimi, steaks, and seafood. My favorites are Misoyaki Marinated Butterfish, and Roy's Original Blackened Island Ahi. This restaurant is only 5 minutes away from our place and located right next to Ko Olina golf course.

92-1220 Ali'inui DrRoy Yamaguchi is a very well known Chef. We are lucky to have one of his restaurant in Ko Olina resort. It's known for sushi & shashimi, steaks, and seafood. My favorites are Misoyaki Marinated Butterfish, and Roy's Original Blackened Island Ahi. This restaurant is only 5 minutes away from our place and located right next to Ko Olina golf course.
One of my favorite buffet restaurant. Perfect for brunch. If you like lobster tails and other seafood, this is the place for you. Call first before going there.

If you want to eat dinner in Waikiki or in Haleiwa, I highly recommend checking out Uncle Bo's. I love their shrimp dynamite, manila clams and baked Opa (a type of fish). They're very good.

We love going to this water park. It's only about 5-10 minutes away from our place. Perfect for adults and kids. Check for seasonal pass. It's better than getting a 1 day pass.

One of the best beach in Oahu is just 5 minutes drive from our house. It's perfect for family who has kids and perfect spot to watch sunset. It also has 4 man made lagoons and free limited parking is available.

By far, the best luau is in Paradise Cove. It's well known for great hula show, delicious Hawaiian food, lei making, and other fun & games. And it's only 5 minutes away from our place.

Learn the different cultures of the Polynesians at the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC). There's a lot of things you can do there. There's hula show, fire dancing, boat ride, lei making and many other things. Expect to spend the whole day there. It's about an hour drive from our place.
